Agreed.

I have no doubt that many regionals are working with colleges and universities to build or enhance bridge programs, and know first hand that several companies are working with UND right now to hire through the university.

Mesaba, Piedmont, Pinnacle, Colgan, Trans States, Republic, Mesa, Big Sky, Great Lakes, Eagle and ASA all have job postings, most with reduced minimums. Some are with low time: 300TT/25ME (Cape Air), 400TT/50 ME (Trans States) or 500TT/100ME (Eagle).

But I don't expect to see any programs to hire low time piston pilots (with no turbine experience) into the right seat at Air Tran, JetBlue, Spirit, Allegiant or other similar national/major carriers. The pool of qualified applicants coming out of the regionals is just too big.
