Getting one of these jobs is probably harder than getting on with DL, UA or SW, and in the case of United Technologies, I'm sure it is.. Supposely that's the top corporate job around
I would agree with this. We pay our captains a little north of $180K but we have extensive benefits and flexibility regarding scheduling. These jobs are pretty hard to get if only because of the numbers. Compared to other corporate flight departments, we are a smaller operation with very high retention rates so there are rarely any openings. Our "problem" is with FO's. they want a career path (I don't blame them) which we cannot provide at this time. But we have options for those guys/gals to.
