It's a HUGE difference. Not so much for the majors and legacies. But for the regional carriers, being able to abuse and bank on a certain percentage of the crewmembers not even knowing their own legalities and regulations is their bread and butter.

I see a lot of fines and lost revenue coming.
Perhaps you should start by understanding what your rights are. Evidential you don't.

We all know the 50 seat CRJ is going to the desert sooner rather than later. The company is looking for ways to be flexible as this occurs. They can flex that additional savings right into my wallet.
