I agree with you. From the day the first negotiator's notepad came out, I was furious and disgusted. I never felt good about our TA. I was a hell no vote. I'm convinced now that I am a permanent no vote for every TA I ever vote for. After it was voted in, I had some feelings that maybe 62 percent of us are right and I am unreasonable. Now that I've been under this contract for a year, I am angry that my fellow pilots voted this in.
I don't think you should allow yourself to feel that way hockey. Some of your fellow pilots truly felt this contract was a great deal, and they
still feel that way. You can't be angry at them for that opinion. Other fellow pilots had big misgivings, but felt they had to trust the MEC administration. Most of those pilots now realize they were flat out lied to. You can't be angry with those pilots either because it was not unreasonable for them to trust their union leadership. My goal now is to simply remind everyone that
nothing can or should replace your own logical mind and gut instincts. And
never forget who it was that lied to you.
