So you were actually a Captain? Really? You were actually a Captain that got trained and flew as a Captain? Finished OE, flew a schedule? Or, did you just potentially hold a Cap bid if nothing changed before the next system bid that would completely realign the CAL world. I still can't understand a system that basically says - sure, you might hold Captain if nothing changes between now and potentially, umm... sometime in the future. Doesn't mean you are one. I, however have constantly held Captain since 1999, have actually flown Captain for over 9 years at UAL (not UEX), and can still hold it today as a lineholder in most bases and intend to bid it just as soon as we actually have a bid. Yet the CAL list has me slotted with 2005, who didn't even hold Captain in 2010 with 5 years longevity max. I had 15. I've held Cap since 2000, and flew it for 9. Sure slot me with someone who had never held it, never flew it, and might never hold a widebody Cap due to lack of widebodies potentially based on age. Spare me the violin song, Ben.
