I think JP is to blame for lots of things. Unfortunately, the worst will be the long term bad feelings that will be held by the CAL side, post-ISL.

Because of the 3 year delay in the JCBA, the l-Cal side has had a huge advantage, and has bid on all of UCH flying, while the l-UAL side has not. Had the JCBA been done in a timely manner, none of this would have happened. I think the l-Cal side will feel slighted because they had inflated career expectations because of this. JP may have given them a short term advantage, but I think his legacy will be long term bad karma for the combined group.
