Turns out all you need to do to get an early contract is sell out the next generation of pilots in exchange for single-digit raises! Silly SWA pilots, why didn't they think of that....
Jungle Bus,

Here are the Year over Year figures for RPMs and ASMs for the Delta Connection regional carriers in the post contract world (Data came from Delta's news archives which only went back to DEC12)

ASMs RPMs

DEC -9.5% -9.5%
JAN -6.9% -7.1%
FEB -13.0% -13.3%
MAR -6.7% -10.4%
APR -4.3% -8.7%
MAY -3.2% -5.9%
JUN -4.9% -7.3%

Anybody who thinks the scope clause from the last contract was some sort of boon for Delta Conection simply doesn't understand it's effects. When fully carried through, there will be far fewer seats flying for the regionals (ASMs), there will be far fewer passengers who bought a 'Delta ticket' and end up on a Regional (RPMs) and fewer Regional pilots who fly for Delta connection. Those are just the facts.

I'm not saying that mainline is growing by leaps and bounds right now, those of us here know it's not.....but it's not because jobs are being sold to DCI. On the contrary, under this contract, DCI is taking the brunt of the cuts.
