So if you commute you will be living in a crashpad for a good portion of the month. Even if you do get overnights the hotels at RAH are an eye opening experience so either way you will be miserable.
2. At the outstations which are most of the bases, every trip will begin at 0515 on the first day and end at 2345 on the final. Enjoy commuting for that.
3. The FA's are probably some of the worst in the industry. They will constantly disrespect the CA and FO to their face, use slang and make political announcements on the PA. You also need to expect them to fabricate wildly false stories about you and go to the company with the lies to try and get you in trouble. Beware, one of them actually started the APU and powered up the entire aircraft followed by an attempted engine start on the 170.
Enjoy "Q day" on July 25.
1. Hoping for day trips. Going there because I live in base.
2.I have two options where I am now. The 4:30 show or the get home at Midnight. Same/same. ( we are a regional, we fly people to hubs so they can get on bigger planes to go somewhere. Dont we have to get them there before the other plane leaves? Or after its arrived? So early morning or late nights is par, no?)
3. We're really talking about the level of FA now?
You know I was actually getting worried about coming there. But the more I read the complaints and see that they're the same Ive experienced or I hear in my crew room ( besides cancellation pay YES THAT SUCKS!) Plus, the more I peruse the other threads of the airlines you all say are better and see NOTHING but complaints there... Im feeling a lot better... Thanks guys!
