Other airlines are offering $5k sign on, requiring 2 year commitment, why don't Silver offer 5k to all FOs and require 1 or 2 more years of service, or just $5/hr across the board...
I cant see them giving a bonus to stay. Too many people will take the money. Then break the contract and leave anyway. Leaving the company to either eat the loss or spend more money to get it back. A little more per hour starting year two would increase retention and be competitive with the other regionals. First year pay is re dic but its the same everywhere. Its year two here that opens your eyes...
