Not a big fan of Korean Management. Even their Bar B Que is greasy. I am curious to know if the LCA was a striker, or strike breaker. (and while on IOE, this is the LCA's jet, isn't it)
My instincts might be wrong, but I would hope ALPA considers whether the guy is a scab before offering assistance.
Chairman Hirshman has done an excellent job at the NTSB. Do not know anything about the handling of this matter, yet, but she's been a very strong safety advocate in the face of political pressure.
Scabs are more common in Korea than they are here. The union membership is somewhere around 50-60%, and they expect all expats to fly through the strike. Anyhow, the best FU for being ordered back to work was the Asiana pilots donating blood in force right after being ordered back to work.
Anyway, back to the originally scheduled programming....
