Great Lakes has a fairly high washout rate in training, something on the order of 40%-50% last time I checked. The up side of this is nobody gets hired until they pass training which saves their PRIA image somewhat.
Yeah, but that means you can go 3 months without being paid, all while watching people around you get ousted.
GL doesn't even help you get to the interview.
