IROP: Irregular Operation” (IROP) means severe weather or other unforeseen event(s) that significantly affect flight operations at any of the Company’s domicile(s) as determined by the OCC.
The e-mail send out said "Due to Severe weather, ATC program impacting ATL, DTW, IAD, the ExpressJet OCC duty manager is declaring an IROP"
No weather or ATC programs at DTW today! I guess we can throw in not properly staffed in the "unforeseen events".
