I recommend VX's seasonal ANC service from SFO. You depart 12:50 am arrive SFO at 6:25am, and then you can connect on the VX morning flight to EWR or take any of 16 daily EWR flights on United. VX's seasonal ANC service ends early September, and it currently runs 6 days a week. The nightly Tuesday flight SFO-ANC doesn't operate, and it's respective Wednesday morning return doesn't operate. From what I've seen so far, our ANC loads are very commutable.
