Very true they could and may. But I think most had hoped they would get the opportunity to at least compete for job rather than just being shut out. It is lost on most of them, why the flows and guaranteed interviews exist. Why not just let everybody compete on their own merit. If the Compass, Mesaba, and Pinnacle pilots are what Delta is looking for they would get the jobs anyway through the normal process.

I sure there are plenty of regional guys that don't have a flow opportunities who would agree.
