To my understanding the COG (I have taken that same COG test 3 times at different places now) and Personality test are the same, the Job Knowledge Test is a little easier.
My friend at her DL interview took near the whole time, I used her study technique and I finished the compass one in about 35 minutes. The HR person at the time said it was slightly easier than the one at mainline (I asked on day 1 of class), I'm not sure by how much. There were a two questions I looked at and had no idea, while my friend said there were 5 or so that she didn't know.
My comparison is by no means scientific.
The hardest part about the COG test? I give this advice to everyone...The test will frustrate you and overload you. It's putting your mess ups behind you and continuing to be as accurate as you can. You will screw up during it, but you have to block that out and continue on.
