Just because your management brought 9E into this argument doesn't mean 9E is the cause of what US Air is asking. Pinnacle held the line for years before gaining an industry leading contract and then being forced into bankruptcy with concessions.
No one here at Pinnacle wishes the decisions we had to make on any other carrier. Some here suggested the other regional MEC's should come to our aid before the vote, but the gallery was silent.

9E IS the problem. You voted more than half of your selves out of a job and the rest for horrible wages. Delta bragged about how they got you to do it and the rest of the industry liked it. 9E started this. ZERO doubt about that.
9E's previous contract was hardly industry leading. Payrates not much better if at all than ASA and worse than XJT. Name a "leading" aspect of that contract that ASA or ExpressJet didn't have for years before that.
