My point was, they were offered a defined amount of aircraft deliveries for their concessions. What did we get? A kick in the ___. We had more reason to shout "NO" than they did, but rolled over and showed our bellies to management. The Eagle guys seem to have a bit more integrity than our pilot group so far, seeing as they didn't even send the agreement to the pilot group for a vote, but voted it down 7-2.
A.) Unfortunately, this whole charade shows exactly where Piedmont sits in the pecking order. We are truly the "red-headed stepchild.
B.) If by some act of God, Airways would approach us now (not going to happen), and offer us equipment . . . since we already operate on a "B" scale . . . I hope this pilot group can get it together this time, and stand our ground. I wouldn't want to be associated with throwing Eagle under the bus, while moving to a "C" scale.
