Can Any Allegiant guys weigh in on, 15% to 20 % of the fleet being broken at anytime? Not getting paid on time? Scheduling leaving you away from base for days at a time because they expect you to jumpseat back so they don't have to buy a ticket, and they keep you in the airport all day not knowing if your really going to leave so they do not have to provide you a hotel?
The word on the street from Allegiant pilots is not great, and things are going down hill fast unless your management. As far as the union goes, the pilot group offers things and the counter offer is NO from the company?
Old airplanes. So, they do brake. Often. Not sure about the daily numbers. But, from a business standpoint, doesn’t seem to be impacting profitability. If you are on reserve, expect to be shuttled all over the place. If you live in florida, this will be palatable. You will be doing a lot of OKC (our heavy mx base), and getting stuck there a few times.

There is no expectation for jump seating in lieu of deadheading. This might be coming from one or two, eager little beaver types who have volunteered themselves. They aren’t too bad with upping the hotel room, if they forget to reserve one. You just have to politely remind them you need one. The only real issue here is, g4 is not a regular customer for hotel rooms. So, if its late, say 1000 pm to the wee hours of the morning, the hotel staff might be looking at you wondering why your there.

Ya, payroll got jacked. Company made it good. Offered to cover any past due fiduciaries as a result. Contract negotiations. Like all airlines, any and all items that are cost neutral are being discussed. Any topic that is not, well. Is not. This will be the case, and was anticipated. My guess, I am not privy to any union business. But, we will go through the motions, complete due diligence for the next couple of years. Then apply for self help.

This is where things will get ugly. Most of the upper management team is old school Northwest. They have a visceral disdain for anything union. That is a shared attitude from the top.
