Amen! Myself and a handful of my peers in the Navy have already punched out. Some made the transition already to one of the majors. The rest of us are treading water in a variety of jobs. A week doesn't go by that I am not contacted by someone in Naval Aviation that is planning on getting out and is working to set themselves up with all their quals etc for the airlines. "Hey bro, what's the gouge on ......" Where I work, a lot of varying background military guys, and I was NOT surprised to see how many of us were burnt out and disillusioned (to a degree) with the military for a wide variety of reasons. I wonder what the detailera and placement officers in Millington are going to do if hiring ever begins on earnest, there will be quite a few Naval Officer resignations in those years (and I am sure in the rest of the Military also).
