Overheard this on Indy Center a few years back:

IND: "Delta 1234, contact Cleveland on 123.2"
Delta: "24.2, Delta 1234"
Immediately after Delta's transmission:
IND: "Delta 1234, sorry, I gave you the wrong freq. Should be 132.2, you still there?"
Delta:"Nope, too late!"
