agreed. The lifers will cave because we have too many 50+ year olds with >20 years seniority who will do anything to keep the place afloat. The last one i flew with (28 years) actually said if the company wants pay cuts to go take it from the FO's because "he doesnt make enough as it is and they make too much." I wouldnt be surprised if the company dangles a carrot (preferential interview) to get a remaining 10-15% yes vote so it can pass.
Sadly nothing will change this company and the only option is to leave the first chance we all get and let these losers sort it out when the company is so top heavy even concessions wont let them compete anymore.
