12 & 1/2 year Air Force officer looking to abandon ship and join the Reserves/ANG. The USAF has been a great ride, but it is a total mess of disjointed rules, out-of-touch leadership, and horrible human resource management. I've got over 2,000 hours in the C-130, and over 1,000 in the T-6 Texan II as an instructor pilot. Both are a blast to fly. In addition to finding a part-time gig in the Reserves I'll be looking to get paid to fly by one of the majors - my main motivation for joining this forum.
