So yes. Reserves can work into a day off as long they are scheduled within 3 hours and group A pilots are exhausted and within 2 calendar days, etc... As long those conditions are met, yes they can.
A reserve pilot must be given 72 hours notice of any trip assignment that will cause you to work on a moveable day off.
"Example: A pilot is scheduled for reserve duty on June 1, 2, 3, and 4, followed by moveable days off on June 5, 6, 7, and 8. Scheduling
must notify the pilot of the intent to have him on duty on June 5 no later than 0001 on June 2."
