I agree PDT will be gone but as others have said I think between PSA and Eagle it's a real toss up who will be the surviving wholly owned, and how it happens be it merging or cutting, what have you. I think there's more to PDT VP of Ops coming to PSA then meets the eye. Plus, the Dayton training center is opening it's new renovated downstairs, we have route coordinators from TYS moving to DAY (after YEARS of being in TYS. That's pretty much the only reason we have a TYS base) so with so many moves happening that clearly aren't consolidating....don't write PSA off so soon.
I'd rather not write off either airline. I spent almost 5 years at Piedmont and have a couple of friends at PSA and don't want to to see any of them out of work.
I still think Parker is going to be looking at the regionals with a serious cost saving / cutting eye.
As far as Scrobola, I never thought he was too bad. He's a fairly reasonable guy but you have to be able to make a case and sell the idea. This coming from a non line-pilot standpoint. I had a little more interaction with management than a line pilot would.
