How about a layover sub-forum...perhaps separated into Domestic and International? Or even city-by-city?
Good way to get recommendations on restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, activities, etc.
I find the layover database in the "tools" section of the IPA page useful but outdated and underutilized. Also, the posts have no date stamps, so you don't know how old the information is. And since hotels frequently change, recommendations that say "walk out of
the hotel and make a left turn..." can be inaccurate and misleading.
I'd like to be able to benefit from a pool of knowledge combining all airline travelers...not just guys from my company.
