Staffing bid. Ask any of the old timers. When a staffing bid used to happen it was a total reset. None of this vacancy only stuff. I want CA and won't get it because they don't want to pay to train an upgrade if someone is already qualified to do that job. I do not blame direct entry captains it is just a little frustrating.
It's not the DEC's fault at all. They interviewed and got the job fair and square. I've flown with a few of them and they're all great to fly with and have earned my full respect. However the company is going about this all wrong. All I have to say is;
