I know who your talking about and it was more related to him being rather old to be on a steep learning curve like the "9" after 10,000+ hours of glass. However he probably had a bad attitude after he was told he was being let go after having trouble with IOE . Incidentally he was around 55 years old. You know what they say about old dogs. Always sorry to hear of another's misfortune.
