That analogy doesn’t work unless all the lawns in your neighborhood are paid for by the same person or company. He/she, who's actually in control, would choose the person who can do an adequate job maintaining their lawn at the lowest price as the standard. Then they would demand all others match their price or lose your lawns. At DL, US/AA, UA, AS, etc. your analogy works much better but not for the subcontractor industry.

This thread needs to be retired.
