Here you go making an ass out of yourself again. Why would the company run a vacancy/displacement bid to just redo it all over again by displacing CA back to FO creating even more training cycles. Also, why not just cancel the guys in training since they are the most junior. Why let them finish as the most junior CA are starting training in the next two weeks or so just to pulled them at the end of training or displace them shortly after when the smaller ERJs are parked. Makes no sense.
***There weren't upgrades on this vacancy because the numbered guys aren't going to AA for 8-10 weeks, since APA change the payout at AA over 100 guys whom perviously deferred recall came running in matter of days creating a training bubble, so they are shrinking the amount of guys they take in but will take them in so they can get the pay out. Then in October-November time frame you will see 50 Eagle guys go a month and I am suspecting 100 of those guys will go. So that puts another vacancy bid in September!

Fellow American Eagle pilots,
Second, yesterday management announced a vacancy bid that does not contain any Captain vacancies. We have been told that this is the direct relation to an inability to hire sufficient First Officers. The company has indicated that despite our current need for additional Captains, upgrading First Officers at this point would create an imbalance between First Officers and Captains and therefore upgrades are being delayed.
With reference to the flow-through, due to the number of furloughed AA pilots who have now decided to return to employment at AA, it appears that the nine Eagle pilots who were originally scheduled to attend AA training in July will be delayed until October.
AA had originally expected to begin hiring new hires in September and that is now expected to be delayed until the end of this year, or the beginning of next.

There you have it. Cant hire FO's therefore no upgrades. Thats how it works if you understand...
