I'll burn this place down before concessions.
I honestly believe management's intention is to shut this place down. There is no way they will ever get rid of the top 30% or so, even with a flow through. These same guys endure the -200 just to preserve their seniority instead of bidding ATL -700. There is no way they are going to flow to mainline and "start over".

Management is asking for these concessions because they know its a poison pill that will never pass muster. They want us to shoot it down and begin the graveyard spiral. and if by some miracle it passes, they will be back for more next year. Comair was mentioned because it is the template for this process of seniority elimination. It will happen here, mark my words. In a situation like this, our best course of action is to let it run its course and take max pay to the last day. But unfortunately, I expect our union (run by that top 30%) to swallow the hook in hope of avoiding this demise. Which of course Comair proved is impossible.

Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is making the same mistakes, expecting a different result every time. By this definition, ALPA is insane.
