I think with movement finally starting again there will be fairly quick upgrades on the EMB-120. A lot of the current EMB captains have there thousand hours snd want to go the RJ for the pay bump.
Most of the ones I fly with want to go to the RJ for the bases more than the pay bump. I fly with a lot of Brasilia captains who commute from Phoenix and Seattle and even a few who commute from Chicago and Houston.
Reserve guarantee on the RJ isn't much of a pay raise over a 90 hour line on the Bro. When I transition I worked out that I'll likely take a pay cut. I commute from an RJ base though and would rather be on reserve in base than holding a line as a commuter.
