Of course! Ask any old timer if a merger means 1+1=2. Never really has, but Delta did one at about 1+1=1.95, which is a sight better than the UCAL one, which parked 100 737's right before the combo and sold off their 767-200ER's right after!

True again. $38 BILLION dollar a year companies don't see "short term" as 0-12 months. A corporate "short term" is 1-3 years, and we are getting lots of evidence that the next 2 years will be beneficial for pilots.

Right again, and what do YOU think SD means when he stated in the same update you see the "300" that the "number of pilots hired can and likely will change"?
