IMO, it will have a bunch of unfilled positions. Unless someone wants to get to a specific base, what motive would there be for anyone to bid the 717b position. There is more benefit to be MDed into the category.
I actually bid it because after only two weeks on the 88 ATL after being displaced off of DTW dc9 I was couldn't take anymore. The 15 hour days, constant maintenance problems, horrific weather delays, etc... It has been miserable. I was so exhausted and beat down after my trips it took me days to recover. Plus I was missing holidays and weekends when everyone back home was doing fun stuff. Made me a very crabby person.
