OUR proposal ??!! I believe you are correct, btw. Common sense dictates that of the 2, the UAL proposal is more on the fair and equitable side....you know, not stapling 13 year (as of 2010) employees, and actually following policy. Besides, how do you tweak a "1 for me, 1 for you" ratio? haha. It's got the complexity of a coloring book. Wasted paper.
