I recently shared a table in the cafeteria with a gal who is involved with pilot hiring. I jokingly mentioned the names of the 2 people who I'm recommending. She pulled out a pen and wrote them down but I'm not holding my breath. I do know for a fact that a few people got hired in 2010 because they had very good connections, VERY good.
