Welcome aboard!

You will have the chance to sign up for non-revenue benefits thru Delta, United and US Airways (regardless of what you fly/where you're domiciled). If you fly Am. Eagle routes on the CRJ out of LAX, you can sign up for AA non-rev bennies, and the same applies if you managed to fly for Alaska in the northwest (very senior CRJ pilots up there). Flying for free on "SkyWest planes" is only an option thru one of the above non-revenue agreements, although we (usually... ) get better priority on our own metal than main-line employees.

There are fees for enrolling in each non-revenue program, and you can't apply day one...so you'll have time to do your homework before you have to pay your $$. But it's one benefit that's still available. Just remember, it is STANDBY travel, and does not always work out.
