Type of degree (technical vs non-technical) has mattered in the past for active duty, and I know someone applying for OTS now who told me it was actually less of a factor for those attempting to get a pilot slot.
Guard/Reserve: type of degree not as important.
Eye sight can be waived within certain parameters. Don't sweat that too much.
