Default Chances Flowchart

Chances chart,

Over the years I have been fairly accurate at predicting ones career success or failure. I believe that a new pilot hopefuls chances can be predicted fairly early on by the use of industry knowledge of trends and new hire statistics. This system can be used by prospective pilot candidates and banks to evaluate a persons feasibility of success. The survey would include questions like "do you have a close relative who is a pilot"? , Do you have access to a plane? Are you from an upper-middle class family? Are you planning to join the military? Ans so on. At best the results would provide a broad range of ones chances, 90-100% or 0 - 25% ECT. There is always a personal variable to contend with and luck jumps in there as well. The test would have to be updated every 12 months or so to adjust to the changing environment. The results would have a 5 to 10 year validity. We could even create a version for pilots who are in the middle of their careers as well. It would be a massive undertaking for one person and most colleges and flight schools would avoid it like the plague but what a helpful tool it could be for a few who question if a career as a pilot is a good choice or not. Success or failure would be based upon ones stated career objective.
