Being a former Comair employee (ramp) I have to defend my former brethren. Do you think it was easy for them telling everyone that would listen (and even those who didn’t listen) how working for any Delta Connection Carrier besides Comair was contributing to the “race to the bottom”. Do you think it was easy for them to listen to all the ramp frequency calls in order to be able to block any that weren’t Comair? I’m sure you know it wasn’t easy for them to deny jumpseats to other DCI carriers in order to teach the jumpseater about taking Comair routes. I’m 100% sure when they did give up a jumpseat they had to think about how to lecture you on how flying for a carrier other then Comair shouldn’t be an option. “Feeding your family” was never an excuse to take a job for another regional carrier, you should hold out until a better higher paying job opened up.
Do you think it’s easy for them to look at themselves in the mirror every day and
hear the voices of al those other crew members they put down over the years?
We used to have a joke on the ramp: What’s black, usually 10-12 inches long and attached to a D*CK???? A Comair pilots tie!
I would like to know why when you get on my plane you always start by saying your former Comair-now gojet? Is that to make me feel better or yourself?
I was going to try to defend former Comair pilots at gojet but you know what, I can’t.
