I don't have a problem with ALPA guys or Pinnacle guys but I might have a problem with a particular ALPA guy or a particular Pinnacle guy. Its the "automatic" aspect of these agreements that bothers me.
In my opinion, Delta has done a pretty good job hiring pilots over the years. I hate to see them give that up.
Well if it takes Delta to interview 500 pinnacle guys before they hire their first one, then that's what it will be, again WE DO HAVE TO INTERVIEW AND BE HIRED. Don't worry, Pinnacle guys aren't a bunch of mental handicaps walking around the airport with propeller helmets, and the few that are a little anti-social, I'm confident the interview will take care of those guys, and I'm sure there will be some pinnacle guys getting torpedoed by ex-coworkers now working for Delta, 80 knots and the north Mississippi fly club come to mind.
, but believe me, I'm all for a fair process to determine who is and who isn't Delta material.
