NTSB report on Epic said overspeed gov failed as a result of contamination from bearing failure that had a bad part. Engine went to min fuel flow.

The ATC tape from KHVN that I listened to indicated ILS2 circle to land 20. Winds were about SE at 20. They did a SPC OBS at 11:26

Heard the CAB indicate to pilot if he was going to be abe to stay visual (must have seen something) and was wondering.

RWY 20 has terrain and wires and poles. Not EZ on a good day,never mind a circle.
