DL replaced the angle lie flat seats with lie flat a year ago and more recently also added Y+ service and AVOD at every seat.
FWIW, UAL had installed lie-flat cubicles on the 747-400 in first class prior to 9/11. I specifically recall a very nice ride on N128UA LAX-AKL in seat 1A when the aircraft was few months old in the fall of 2000.
The current UA 747 config in the 3rd version for first class, 2nd version for business class, and the first real update for economy (other than adding E+). Goes to show where UAL puts their priorities on that aircraft and who pays the freight.
