Long call isn't available because no base has more than 30 reserves so I doubt it has been discussed ( the union and Mgmt would have to agree on it first BUT it is possible). I think the 4 day stretch off on reserve hurts you more than it helps personally. I would rather have more consistent days off on reserve. Also, they should not be calling you on your off days before to notify you of your reserve period. We should be able to bid for reserve periods in seniority order.
That being said I will say reserve is much easier at Compass, only because they are properly staffed, at least for FOs currently. If that were not the case (like 9E traditionally) than we would be used and abused just as bad as 9E.
