I would agree with what CatIII said... you're right in the ball park... a few months back I had a conversation with our Chief Pilot (KM) and he mentioned that they need at least 2500 flight hours to be competitive... the more Jet time the better. PIC is nice but its not a hard and fast rule at Hawaiian as to needing that at all. They really like RJ time from the mainland... from places like ExpressJet, SkyWest, ASA, Pinnacle, etc... because it exposes guys to glass cockpit, international ops, Jet aircraft... etc... but they tend to hire lots of guys that never upgraded in those type of operations or only did for a short time. This is not to say that they don't also take guys from TurboProp operators too... like Horizon or Island Air. Its a big point system and every thing you have adds to your points. Just hang in there... stay positive and motivated and your number will come up eventually.
