Re. the USAir/AA merger, I thought the Airline Industry was Deregulated in 1978! Since then, EVERY major has been bankrupt, undercutting each other's prices with too much capacity in the system to turn a profit. It's amazing to me that the DOJ hasn't got a problem with the oil industry's consolidation, or lack of competition, or the BILLIONS in profit they rack up every year! When is the last time BP was worried about going bankrupt?

Yet now that the majors are FINALLY making money, the DOJ is all over it. Not enough competition?! Spare me!
