At most airlines you bid for seat and training dates at the same time, that way you can change seats without jeopardizing your family vacation that has been already paid for, or miss your kids graduation. Anytime you do a seat bid at fedex you throw the next six to eight months up in the air. It does not have to be that way.

Anybody know if this is being dealt with in the contract?
