If you don't mind me asking, how many hour did you get hired with to get into the 170. Also, Skywest is getting them too, but I have heard they are not hiring straight into them at first. Yeah, I think that is a big factor.

I don't blame people for trying to advance themselves and their careers, please don't misunderstand. I believe most RAH pilots on here say similar things to prospective RAH pilots-like think twice about coming to RAH, but if you do, you won't get snubbed by the pilot group.

So far, despite all the attempts to thwart newcomers to RAH, I personally have not observed a lack in interest to go there. When the 175 order first came out, I thought RAH would not even come close to staffing those, let alone the rest of the operation. Much to my surprise, I think my initial judgment will prove to be incorrect.

With that said, I really wouldn't mind if the regionals do have a hard time staffing, and particularly the more deadbeat ones. The pressure to improve is a good thing.

Finally, I'd like to see all my fellow pilots treated better....shoot every employee at a regional for that matter.
