Flying into Valpraiso, FL (Eglin AFB) the (military) controller said "check wheels down, cleared to land." I replied "XXXXX XX cleared to land, gear down, full stop." Tounge and cheek of course and chuckles all around. You don't have to check your sense of humor at the door when you start flying 121 do you?
