There are normally a limited number of planes driving around the taxiways on a given military airfield. At a big, hub airfield, it's a totally different deal with some very fast 'n furious radio work.
I'll never forget my first push on ATL on the Mad Dog with all the baggage carts zipping around, catering, etc, and I realized I wasn't at Travis anymore.
On my OE, the FA dinged us and asked "was that initial?" I responded, "we don't fly initials at Delta." Dumbass.
