An in house won't have the horsepower to get anything accomplished. ALPA is tried and true, we will not get the "first rodeo" symtoms that JetBlue is famous for.
They also don't require the start up capital that an in house will require. We will each be assessed a few thousand dollars for those costs just to get an organization going. This will equate to years before our first CBA.
The best move for us is to vote for a national union and obtain a CBA as fast as possible. We don't have time to spare with the merger landscape the way it is. If you are still unhappy at that time look to decertify the union. Just like delta was doing (they are no longer seeking to do so).
